Terms of Service

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site with no authority over a government office. We do not keep official jail, court, release, or corrections records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Pages point toward Val Verde County records resources, Texas correctional systems, and third-party research tools. Any official answer must come from the government body that created or maintains the record.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site in violation of any law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
• Do not base employment, housing, lending, credit, or insurance decisions on site content.
• Do not attempt access to systems or data without authorization.
• Do not run bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with the service or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

Val Verde County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. You agree not to use any information obtained here for:

• hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision;
• tenant selection, housing, or lease eligibility;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit; or
• any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to release records, Sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or outside search services. We do not control or endorse their content, availability, data practices, or terms. Review each destination’s policies before relying on it or submitting information.

Service Provided As Is

The site, its content, and its links are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

• information is accurate, complete, or current;
• access will be continuous or uninterrupted;
• the site will always be free of errors, bugs, or security flaws; or
• a partner search will find every relevant record.

Custody and public records can change quickly. Nothing on these pages is an official statement by the Val Verde County Sheriff, TDCJ, a court, or any other government agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, the site and its owners, operators, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or linked material.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, operators, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, original graphics, logos, layout, and code are owned by Val Verde County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, republish, modify, or create derivative works from protected materials without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. A revision takes effect when it is posted here. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Suspension or Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or end access at any time, for any lawful reason, without advance notice. This includes action taken to protect the site, its users, or third parties.

Texas Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
